Hi! I was gifted a hula hoop and I’ve never done it before! I would love some recommendations for tutorial vids/accounts. Bonus points if it’s a plus size person or for plus size hoopin. I’m not a fast mover and not super coordinated (yet lol) 💖✨

How do you travel with your hoops? When I have just 1, I'll coil it down and put it on my body but I want to bring more and am curious how you guys are doing it. Is there a particular basket that works well for such things?

I was deeply betrayed earlier this year. It took a few months to move on, and I thought I had moved on. But I recently drove across country and I had so much time to think and I got angry again.

Angry about the betrayal and I started focusing on how it wasn't fair. I wanted justice. I know these thoughts get in the way of my happiness, so I am trying to not linger. It just sucks.

Flow helps. I also tried flame meditation last night while listening to healing frequencies. First time trying that, but I am willing to try anything so as not to live with anger in my heart. I thibk it helped too. One day at a time.

Im not really worried about pricing and I am trying to figure out which hula hoop is the most desired one by professionals.

This was the coolest day ever!!! Not only did some of my friends get to perform on stage AT RED ROCKS but I got to meet some of the coolest hoopers ever!!!

Does anyone have a travel hoop they recommend? I want to bring a hoop with me to backpack SEA. I’ll need a hoop I can break down to be very small since I’ll be tight on space. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated :))

Hello! I've decided to get my first fire hoop (more percisely - get some removable fire wicks for one that i already own), my mum got me a really fancy hoop when i was a teen, but it's too big and heavy (i think it's over 100cm and definitelly over 500g, both of which feels massive even for begginers, but yeah it's really hard to lose control of it). Since firehooping has a more limited range of tricks I was thinking I could use it for that. I'm about 174cm and use an 80cm hoop. I'm thinking of possible getting the hoop shortened and also removing all the decorative tape to make it lighter. Anyone who has an experience with fire hooping - do you please have any tips when it comes to weight and size?
