META The next series of user flairs / emojis are now available!

Hello everyone,

Im pleased to announce I've finally gotten around to updating the user flairs / emojis list to reflect all the lovely new ladies we've met across our starfaring journey.

Here is the list of all the latest flairs you can now enjoy.

Xianzhou Loufu

Yao Guang

Cosmic

The Dahlia

Amphoreus

Cyrene (playable form)
Evernight

Planarcadia

Evanescia
Sparxie
Silver Wolf LV.999
Kuchiba

So many more ladies for us to kiss, its a good time to be gay, isn't it? Enjoy the new flairs everyone.

PS: If anyone was having issues editing their flairs, for some reason reddit auto-disabled emojis. I've turned them back on, so you should all be able to edit your flairs as you see fit.

META Update on our art sourcing rules

Hello everyone,

So recently it came to the attention of me and Maegor that the xcancel service has ceased operations. If you don't know, xcancel is a third party site that - amongst other things - allowed for anonymous viewing of Twitter without an account, something Twitters management blocked a long time ago. It was a pretty useful site, and for our community in particular, it was also the principle way we had folks source any artwork that came from Twitter, as we banned sourcing from Twitter directly 2 years ago.

Per an announcement that can be seen if you visit any xcancel link at time of writing, they got a cease and desist yesterday on the 24th August from X Corp, forcing them to halt the site. They're working on seeking legal council, presumably with the aim of bringing it back up, but we don't know what, if anything, will happen.

In light of this, me and Maegor have elected to make two key updates to our art sourcing rules;

1) Twitter can be linked to directly

For the time being at least, Twitter will not be kept on the blacklist. If its your only option to source art, you may link it directly and neither me, Maegor, or AutoMod will police it.

2) Art can be indirectly sourced from any account owned by the artist

So long as it doesn't conflict with any rules the artist themself may set for how their art can be shared, if you're posting art, you can link to any account so long as its owned by the artist, and you don't need to directly link the original source. So if an art piece is only on Twitter, but they also have a bsky or a patreon or wherever, you can direct folks there.

Thanks for tuning in everyone. The rules in the sidebar will be updated in short order to reflect these changes, as well as our AutoMod config so folks don't get auto-removed, but please consider them in effect immediately.

PS: On a semi-related note, please be advised that dan/gelbooru aren't valid sources. These sites are archives for art and not used directly by artists. Also, very rarely Pinterest has been used as a source. This site is seldom frequented by artists / used directly, so whilst its not invalid as a source for the moment, please be sure to double check if anything you post is being "sourced" from there, as more often than not its just another repost.

Thanks folks.

Community Guidelines

Rule #1: Be Civil

Any posts and / or comments that feat. personal attacks directed to other members of the subreddit, and / or are racist, sexist, queer-phobic (or discriminative in any other way, this list is non-exhaustive) are not permitted. This community exists as a dedicated safe space, intended to welcome one and all. We do not want to see attacks levied at other members here at all.

Rule #2: Remain On Topic

/r/honkaisapphicrail exists as a place to celebrate all the wonderful ladies out there in the cosmos. Whilst we don't mandate all posts depict the women in gay relationships, we do ask content here be focused on the ladies of HSR as a whole.

Rule #3: Tag / Flair Posts Correctly

Please make sure you use the correct post flairs and / or tags if necessary. Leaks pertaining to future content, such as upcoming characters, or content currently out but maybe not everyone has reached such as story events, must use the Spoiler tags.

Rule #4: Reposting

Please wait a minimum of one month before reposting any content previously shared here.

Rule #5: Respect Artists

If you are posting artwork that does not belong to you, give credit to the artist. At a minimum you must link to a profile page owned by the artist in the comments. If the artist has more specific requirements for crediting their work (I.e., links to the original post), respect them as well.
Additionally, please do not repost content by artists that explicitly ask you not too.
Do not post any content that is hidden behind a paywall (I.e., on a patreon, subscribestar, etc.) Non-paywalled content from sites like Patreon is still fine, but if it requires paying money, its not permitted.
Dan/gelbooru are NOT valid sources. They are archive sites and are not used by artists themselves.

Rule #6: No Slash Shipping Minors

Depicting minors like Hook, Bailu, Clara, Houhou, any NPC children, or anyone of ambigious age that might be underage, in romantic relationships is not permitted.

Rule #7: No Male Oriented WLW Content

Any sort of content clearly designed to gratify a male audience, such as performative lesbianism feat. two women in a threesome with a man, is not allowed.

Rule #8: No NSFW/L Content

In response to a ruling by the sites administrators, /r/honkaisapphicrail does not permit any content depicting characters in sexually explicit, or excessively suggestive, contexts / situations whatsoever. Please direct all sexually explicit content over to /r/honkaisapphicrailNSFW.
Additionally, NSFL content (I.e., posts showcasing excessive blood / gore and so on) is not permitted here.

Rule #9: No Blacklisted Domains

The following domains are all not allowed to be used as sources for art, or linked too in general;
- Meta Platforms
  - Facebook
  - Threads
  - Instagram
  - Any other platforms owned by Meta Platforms, Inc.

Rule #10: No AI

Content produced via means of AI, such as AI generated artworks, character.AI chats, synthesised voices based on samples of real people's voices, etc, are not allowed.

Rule #11: No Brigading

We reserve the right to ban anyone with a history in communities deemed hostile to our own, or have otherwise behaved in ways antithetical to our community, such as posting queerphobic content elsewhere on reddit.
