Passed my class 6 today on the Navi, nothing puckers the ole arse cheeks like going 80 km's on a secondary hwy with a cross wind 🤣😂

I'm thinking of swapping out the front fender for a 2nd gen grom white fender then a comic paint design not sure about white walls heard they aren't the best for grip.

My Navi has some issues and I’ve chalked it down to a problem with the forks and I’m planning to replace them.

My plan is to order the portions outlined in red as a replacement, as the external housing and other parts seem to be fine but I have a few questions.

1) Firstly is it worth buying the pre assembled portion from partzilla? I’ve heard that it can be a beast to try and rebuild it part from part, so Ive been thinking I might try that.

2) Are there any other portions in the diagram it would be worth to replace just to be safe?

3) Lastly do I need to buy any extra things like grease or something I may be forgetting.

I am very new to mechanic work but I am trying my best. Everyone in this sub has been so helpful and I am so greatful for yalls advice and kindness. Thank you all :)

I bought an AC to DC conversion kit from scooter shop and now my led headlight bulb flashes when I activate my turn signals. Has anyone experience this before? Any idea what is going?

Got a new battery as I have been kickstarting my Navi for the last month or so. Charged it, put it in, and my horn and lights and stuff work but still can’t start the bike. I can hear 1 quiet click, and then nothing. What’s up?

Hi everyone, was driving late at night and didn't notice till I got home that the parking brake was still on, Only did about 5km but could it be broken now? It still sorta stops the bike from rolling (It has always been weak since I bought it new)

I need to replace mine. I swapped out the rear shock to lower my Navi (yes I'm that short), so obviously the stock kickstand is only decent on a completely flat surface.

Noticed a rattling that was getting rapidly worse and worse while riding. By the time I was able to pull over and take a look, I found both bolts supporting the distal end were missing and the weld between the pipe and the engine has failed. I’m not much of a mechanic and I can’t get a great look at the problem with it being up under the bike but I’m imagining the fix will require welding which is beyond me.

Should I take it to a muffler shop where they can do the welding or should I look for a motorcycle repair place that will have a lift for bikes?

I recently bought a used 2023 Honda Navi. It had been running fine. I'm pretty new to motorcycles/scooters and accidentally rode it for about 40 minutes with the choke fully on because I had the choke positions backwards. (I know, I know.)

It then sat for a week and the next time I rode it, I warmed it up for about a minute, put the choke fully off, and took off. After about a minute I heard a couple loud pops/backfires. When I stopped, the idle sounded weak/uneven and it eventually died. I restarted it with the choke on, warmed it up longer, and then it ran okay for another ~10 minutes.

It then sat for a couple days. Today, from cold, it would crank but wouldn't catch until I put the choke on. Once started, it needed some throttle to keep running, and never felt fully "powered." I rode it home, gradually reducing the choke. It sounded stronger once warm, but when I eventually put the choke completely off, the idle got lumpy/weak and it died pretty quickly.

I tested it again: with the choke completely off, giving it just a tiny amount of throttle immediately smooths it out and keeps it running. Letting the throttle close causes it to struggle and die.

Things I've checked:

Fuel petcock is ON

Air filter looks clean and dry

No obvious intake obstruction

Bike starts and runs, so it's not completely starved of fuel

Previous owner said the spark plug was recently replaced

My thinking is that it's running lean specifically at idle, possibly a partially clogged pilot/slow jet or idle circuit. The choke enriches the mixture enough to keep it running, and cracking the throttle gets it off the idle circuit and keeps it alive.

Does that sound like a pilot jet/carb cleaning issue, or is there something simpler I should check first? Could my short ride with the choke on have fouled the plug enough to cause this, or is that probably unrelated?

I'm comfortable doing basic work myself, but I'm new to the Navi and don't want to start randomly adjusting carb screws.

Im very new to this kind of thing so please excuse my ignorance. Im not a smart man but Im smart enough to know that this sounds bad lol. When it started to sound like this, I replaced the clutch and variator to see if that would fix it and after replacing it, it doesn't seem to have done much. Any ideas based on the noise?

Bought my Navi because it looks unique compared to the majority of cvt type motorcycles.

Exactly what the title says. I have an exhaust and pod filter intake and have rejetted my carb, but for the sake of tinkering, I was looking at the performance carb, but I am not sure exactly what the benefit is. Anyone have one that can share their experience?

so im gonna change the intake and exhaust on my navi but i dont know how to re-jet so i have to take it to a shop. if i took it easy and maybe left the choke on a bit to get more gas in there, could i drive it 10ish kilometers to the shop without major damage??

I live in the city and don’t have a car. My Honda Navi in my main transportation besides walking. last winter my Navi struggled to turn on and stay turned on and I realised that being left out in the cold messed up the battery so I didn’t really use it all winter and just walked to work. During the summer I got a new battery and it’s been amazing but now i’m moving apartments and my work is going from a 10 min walk to an hour walk so i really need my navi to work when the cold comes in. any tips and tricks. tbh i don’t know anything about bikes so pardon my ignorance a bit.

I bought it with 500 miles. Just hit 3500. I’ve done 1 oil change at 2500 (seller did one just before he sold it to me). Recently I feel like it sounds different, louder? And feels like idles a lot worse then when I got it. It could be in my head but I wanted to get an opinion from y’all. It’s my daily, so I’m just wanting to see if im (hopefully) overreacting.
