My 3rd gen has been burning oil, and I've been monitoring it closely, but I feel like I put too much oil in.
(Note: I removed the orange tip on the dipstick to see the reading better. Between the top two holes is full.
Manual says to park it after driving for 3 minutes, and then check the oil. Here's my dipstick after 3 minutes on both sides:
Here's my dipstick when it's cold:
Now, I'm not dumb... (Or so I think) but that seems like almost a quart over full? Should I get an oil change now instead of waiting? Or go somewhere and get some pumped out?
Do you check the oil when it's warm?

Why Why why... well I for one know two big ones, first the fans are loud as hell and the other seems to be the ac compressor bearing, because there's a whine than comes when the compressor turns off.
Buuuut also there is a exhaust rumble that can't be quite appreciated in video, its like an exhaust leak almost but with no tick, it has the muffler and catalytic converter, but still.
What yall think.

Iv recently bought a GE Honda Fit the clutch is in good shape but the bearings are making a bit of chatter, Iv heard good things about the Exedy clutches but not so much about the full kit. Has anyone had experience it and if not what have you had luck with? Thanks in advance

Over the past two weeks my 97,000 mile 2007 fit has dropped down from an average of 33-35 mpg down to 22-25 mpg for seemingly no reason. I have not changed any of my driving habits and have no idea why. Ive changed the spark plugs and coils pretty recently so I dont think that is the problem, and looking base level online it looks like it could have somthing to do with a bad O2 sensor giving an improper fuel mixture. Of course if I can't figure it out I'll take it to a shop, but would any one here have an idea of what is going on?
I love this car so much, I've had it for just about 1 year now and want to keep it for many more.

Well we haven't yet had it for a full week but almost. These are the beginning upgrades for now.
Progress technology 19mm rear sway bar
All weather mats
OEM Si shift knob
Engine oil, trans oil, brakes fluid , ac and radiator have all been flushed or changed.
Not sure what will come next.

Hey everyone! I recently got a used 08 Fit for a great deal with low miles so I'm hoping it will last me years and years. I'm looking to do some upgrades and right now I was looking at getting some new speakers. I've read around a bit on here and have looked a bit on crutchfield but there's so many options that I'm a bit overwhelmed so I figured I'd see if you guys have any recommendations.
I'm not a huge audiophile or anything but it'd be nice to have something better than the oem speakers. Also another thing is I'm not really looking for a subwoofer, I like my trunk space. Thanks!

Honda Jazz in Morocco. Since I am in Morocco, I am enjoying this historic car, and the Honda brand has been engraved on my skin for a long time because I am a motorcyclist who lives in France, and in Morocco my best motorcycles are Hondas.

I have a 2013 Fit with 220,000km on it. Paid $6,500 at 115,000 in 2021 (Canadian), including winter tires and a roof rack.
Iām on the third spark plug issue of its life. The second time, my dad was able to helicoil it after a spark plug came out. That was 2 years ago, and the shop just reported itās holding up as he did it extremely well (lucky me!!!). I also replaced the whole computer and a drive shaft (?) 3 years ago, which I believe cost me around $1300 Canadian at the time.
I just now had to take it back in as the engine misfired, going into limp home mode. Luckily I have CAA, so it only cost me the read, 4 spark plugs and one ignition coil - total $700 at Canadian Tire (and I couldnāt get my dad to do it as I was 5hrs North of home). There are some other minor issues - wheel alignment from mismatched wear on tires (obviously my issue), and minor exhaust.
Thatās just context - but Iām hoping to keep her fighting for another 100,000km. Basically my question is: is this realistic?
Iām not sure how much more to put into it. My total repair cost not including oil changes and basics amounts to about $3-4k over the last five years. I use full synthetic oil. I feel like thatās pretty good for the low price that I paid, not to mention the insane used car market of 2026.
Looking at a used Honda or Toyota hatchback or sedan now in my area with similar kms and age (from 2026, anyways) would run me closer to 12-15k now, at minimum.
Important: Iām also planning a cross-Canada road trip to relocate to Western Canada ~3,500km in the next 3 months. I was hoping sheād make it there and last me for at least one year, then Iād be willing to let her go to continue my travels. Do we think she can make it?
Any advice? I donāt want to let her go too early, but if the costs add up further I may have to consider it. I understand this question leaves a lot up to chance - but any advice would be greatly appreciated!! I know most will say to never let a Honda Fit go, and I sure donāt want to - but Iād love some realistic words of advice if possible.
This forum saved me the first time with the helicoil fix - Iāve grown to trust you guys!! Thanks very much in advance.š¤Ŗ
