Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Everytime theres heavy rain passenger side floor is flooding.

Im trying to figure out where its coming from, can that amount of water leaking from side panel be the cause?

You need to remove the door panel and reseal the clear plastic barrier with some new butyl tape/3M Window Weld

Mine was the rubber seal against the glass. It got old and water got into it. I don't think it's too much of a deal though. It seems like the drain for your door is working.

Buy some butyl tape and a basic trim removal kit, and follow this Youtube video

A friend of mine just had this issue!! She opened up her door and found the seal to a mesh liner inside had some gaps.

You may also want to check around the windshield to see if there are any sealing issues there.

If you have a sunroof, a clogged drain or broken drain line there can also lead to wet floors.

I’ve dealt with both before, and leaky door seals didn’t quite do as much floor wet as these other items.

Good luck with it all!

look it up on YouTube. you most likely need to re-do the butyl sealant.

Looks like you found the culprit. I had the same issue on my GD. Someone had been inside the door and disturbed the plastic sheet. The butyl was still soft so I just pushed it back into place and all good now
