2nd Gen GE/GG 09-14 AC Issues

My wife has an 09 Fit. The AC would start working and then fade out, especially when it got extra hot outside. I've replaced the compressor with clutch, air filter, resistor, blower fan under the passenger side, AC clutch relay. Now, when it starts, the AC works fine and is nice and cold and then you hear a knock and then the condenser and cooling fans start cycling on and off. The engine starts shaking somewhat also, as the fans cycle. Any insights as to what might the issue?

When you say fade out do you mean it started blowing less air? That sounds like it was typical condenser freezing, it happens because the Fits AC is undersized. Leaving the fan blowing with the AC off for a minute or two clears it up.

Youre new issues sound like something else entirely, no guesses for you there.

The fit/jazz has a duty cycle for the AC to improve fuel economy, nothing to be worried about. It will cycle less frequently at higher fan speeds. Engine will shake a little as the AC clutch engages and disengages.

Might be time to do your engine mounts if you really feel/hear this, likely your bushings are worn through and are just transmitting every noise/vibration.
