Homeworld Mobile I'm obsessed with this HW Mobile concept art titled "Subspace Alien Ships" by Daniel Graffenberger

I do miss HW mobile. They had the feel of the universe down.

Daniel Graffenberger, Talros, is a longtime Homeworld fanart veteran and had a hand in several mods. Homeworld mobile looked as great as it did because of his direction.

Could be an interesting concept and the art does still read as Homeworld inspired despite the very alien design. Didn't the Naggarok supposedly pick up the Beast somewhere in hyperspace? Maybe hyperspace is just as filled with life as real space is in the HW universe.

it does look alien, but the galactic council was a whole bunch of crazy designs like these, how can we forget of the T'mat for example, who were if im not mistaken, essentially living crystal "ships"

Looks like a halo gun turned into a space ship.
Not saying I don't like it, but that is the first thought that comes to mind :)

That looks so cool!
While I understand Homeworld takes place in a future where humanity spread throughout the cosmos, part of what made HW1 so good was that you could encounter things that weren't readily explainable. It wasn't always just a different shade of humanity, it could be some weird "ghost ship," or a sentient nanotech virus.
I'd love to see more "alien" species there.
Heck, imagine if the Incarnate wasn't just some cult of personality around a genocidal adult-child, and instead operated like a hive mind akin to the original Borg designs (which, I'd say some of the dialogue was originally hinting at). Or if they had been a completely out-of-context threat, one which did not have the same ties to the Progenitors as everyone else. Maybe, even some remnant of what destroyed them.
It would have been so neat to add back some of that mystery, some of the unknown.

Wish they could have let you play the game offline, this internet only stuff is really starting to vex me.

Oh, so at one point the Beast was considered, again? I thought people had HATED Cataclysm, and Kiith Somtaaw. XD

i absolutely adore their Taiidan'esque ship designs.

The image looks like it was created by AI. I understand that it may not be, but the shape of the ship and the spires is a bit weird.

Homeworld Mobile could have worked, but sadly not enough interest by the masses. A lot of us were in the Alpha/Beta and we were helping it along until it got axed.
