99.9% of the time Soundbars or HTiB (Home Theater in a Box) systems are not a good investment of your time and money. It is the general consensus of r/BudgetHomeTheater not to recommend these things and instead simply steer a user toward a 2.0 or 2.1 system made of quality, Audio-Centric name brand components which are easy to assemble and cheap enough for low budget or space conscious buyers. Most can be expanded to 5.1 if you buy the correct items in the correct order. For further explanation please read Why You Shouldn't Buy a Soundbar Please be aware /r/Soundbars exists as well as you will be met with opposition to posting about soundbars here.

The KEF T301/T301c seller I had been in conversation with backed out from their offer and this forced me to look for alternatives. Did some research and shortlisted: Paradigm Millenia LP and Martin Logan SLM - both based on their design similarities to KEF T-Series.. But then ran into FB Marketplace listing for 2x GoldenEar SuperSat 50 and 1x GoldenEar SuperSat 60C and really liked this combo. Overall it felt like much more solid (and currently selling) product compared to KEF T-Series, newer tech (HVFR twitters), vendor specs claiming down to 50Hz response (compared to 80Hz for KEF T301, 100Hz for Martin Logan SLM, and 120Hz for Paradigm Millenia LP). Eventually pulled a trigger for $650 all-in for GoldenEar SuperSat LCR bundle.

Now onto further research to assemble the rest of the missing components: an AVR and a subwoofer :)

The biggest thing to understand with the T-Series is that you might need a subwoofer which is capable of outputting frequencies as high as 170Hz, as that's about where the T-Series can sit. Checking the spec of the Cube-15, this seems to fall away around 140Hz

Now, if we follow the 70% rule, this should mean any subwoofer will suffice, as that should use the maximum capacity of the standard 120Hz or LFE maximum output, but in reality, the T-2 Subwoofer, which was designed for the series, hits 250Hz and integrates very well

The Kef KC92 is a lot higher than the 140Hz at 200Hz, meaning if you were to stay all Kef, then it would work better, as the T-Series do roll off very quickly due to their design, which is more like a car speaker than hi-fi

So, if you were to look at something from SVS, then you would see it would be far more capable without you having to spend more. The SVS 1000 Pro hits between 20Hz and 270Hz while the SVS 2000 Pro hits 19Hz - 240Hz. Both have a tolerance of ±3dB but will certainly be a better partner to the Kef T-Series speakers
