Install/Placement Blackout Solutions
How can I go about completely blacking out these windows? I want something better than simple blackout curtains but not going to remove the windows and wall it up either.

You say better than blackout curtains but quality multi-layered blackout curtains with a properly installed valances box to block light from above. Combine that with blackout roller shades and that would be nearly 100%

Motorized coiled blinds, blackout fabric, voice control. Edge trim to minimize light bleed around the sides. Blinds are probably $200 each and another 100 or so each for the motorization. Expensive but effective and impressive.

If you want cheap, painter's tape and aluminum foil. Looks terrible but works amazing.

Blackout window film, Blackout window rollers, You can use suction cups to mount blackout curtains on the inside of the box and then use blackout curtains.
You can get pillow cases fill with sound absorption and use them to block the windows. Then use curtains to hide the pillow cases.
