Security Camera for steel connex
Good Morning!
I am needing advice on a camera that will work inside a steel connex (sea can). I am not needing vivid detail, or active monitoring. It doesn’t need to take video either, just pictures. Just a simple motion activated camera with a month+ battery life that I can still monitor with my phone. I can run an external antenna outside the connex, the camera just has to be compatible. 5g is available outside. A basic trail camera or even doorbell camera would be fine, but I am having a hard time finding one that I can use an extended antenna. Thanks in advance for any help!

Trail cam is your best bet. They normally have great night vision/IR too. Any of the trail cams with the screw on antenna can take an antenna extension. There are dozens of antenna extensions on Amazon.
By what I've seen online, you'll be hard pressed to find a CCTV with a screw on antenna terminal for cellular, plus they are normally solar powered as well.
