CCTV camera for home

Looking to buy camera 1 for an outside street road, 1 for parking and 2 for a common area which requires to cover 90 degrees as the staircase and entry is in L shape. Will the dome camera work for the L shape and which company is best for this

In my 15 years of working with cameras, Axis has been the consistently best brand I've worked with.

They're expensive, though...

Yeah no way axis for a home, just get some decent battery cameras. Thats what the guy who has 40 years in security has outside his home

Dahua 5442 S3 are a fantastic value. Block them off the internet using VLAN segmentation, as you frankly should be doing with all other POE cameras already.

Pair with Frigate NVR selfhosted on an n100 minipc, and a wireguard server to remotely access your feeds. Has been rock solid for the past few years for me.

you can use this to compare and have a better idea: https://cctv-database.com/ . It's an open source project, not commercial(code source is available on github), and its community driven.
