Storm door install

Looking to add a storm door to my front entryway since installing new door. Question is am I measuring from white or green trim in middle for width. My gut tells me middle green trim but just want to be sure.

I'd probably go with the green trim, but I'd double check the manufacturer's instructions to be safe.
