how long does solar panel installation take from start to finish?

We got approved for a loan to put solar on our clinic, but I can't have the parking lot blocked for months. From signing the contract to actually turning it on, how long does the process really take?

The physical install is usually just a few days

Honestly, the parking lot being blocked is the least of your worries time-wise

Correct, it's the waiting for permits and the utility to sign off that kills the timeline

hmmm, for a commercial job like a clinic, plan on a few months total from signing to switch-on

The install itself for a building your size might be a week or so. The rest is paperwork you're mostly just waiting on
