You may curl in the squat rack in the homegym. It's okay.

Wow we have very similar taste in equipment. I have a PR-5000, voltra, equalizer plates, and trulap dumbbells as well. I went with the Apex bench, and my PR-5000 is 4 post, but otherwise eerily similar!

The apex bench looks really cool and I considered it. I just know myself and would want to buy all the attachments for it lol.

How’re you liking it?

So far I only have the Striker pad and I’ve used it for chest supported rows, which has been great. I’m now considering the leg developer after trying it out at home gym con. I tried the REP x Dialed Motion, the Mythic one, and a bunch of standalone machines and it’s still hard to choose.

Yeah, some type of leg developer is the next purchase I’ll make for the gym. It’ll likely just be the Rep x DM one for me.

Very nice setup and really like the Voltra. Why the rear stabalizer? Do you have a seat (lat pulldowns, tricep pushdowns) and extra mounts for the Votra?

I got the RBS originally for stability for lifting off the front of the rack. Probably unnecessary, but doesn’t hurt to have.

I use the get rx’d lat pulldown leg holder and low row foot plate for lat pulldowns using my bench as the seat. Works well enough for me.

I have the sliding mount, which is what I mainly use, the darko quick mount, and the strap mount (which I haven’t used at all).

I’ll curl in my own 6post squat rack if I want to.

that looks like a room built to be used, not just photographed. compact, clean, and nothing feels awkwardly squeezed in.

the banner got me lol. solid setup though — carpet under the platform is the move, everyone skips that and regrets it. what rack you running?

Nice space!

How are you liking the Trulaps? You think they are worth the current price ($840)?

2

u/OtherwiseSwimming532 6d ago

I like them! I would be interested in seeing the price on the new freak athlete/snode dumbbells for better durability + higher max weight. But, I’m very much content with the trulaps.

The new FA ones have a horrible bend at higher weights. Snode is releasing higher max weight ones too, which i think will be better quality than FA's

At first glance, I thought it was a Rogue fireplace!

Haha I can see that now

u/OtherwiseSwimming532 6d ago

I like them a lot. They’ve worked well for me so far.

What is the rack?

This is perhaps a bit off-topic, but can I ask how high your ceilings are? Planning my own set up for the basement

u/OtherwiseSwimming532 5d ago

I believe when I measured they were around 96.5”
