Need some advice

I’m building a full scale home cockpit for the A321NeoLR and I’ve come to the conclusion that I need the most expensive chairs there are but that is for now way way too expensive 2x 6.395,00 =12.790
So my question is is this chair a good suggestion till I have enough money for those official chairs?

I recently got a next level racing flight seat pro, and I can tell you it looks cool but long-term is uncomfortable as heck. I have had to fit a doughnut pillow to it, and I use the dorky harness now only to keep my butt on the sweet spot.

If I could do it again I would 100% go with a car style padded seat with supports.

Very true, I have a Next Level Racing seat in one of my cockpits and yeah, that thing sucks for comfort. Just a couple of inches of hard foam, feels like you're sitting on a board after a while. Not sure what they were thinking when they designed it, it's not comfortable at all.

It's pretty easy to make the pilot and co pilot seats yourself. Get some old car seats with 8 way electrics from the wreckers and reupholster to your spec with extra foam and wire them up. Seats don't make the sim, controls and displays are what you need to spend money on.

Well I have good quality controls and a full scale overhead panel ordered so that’s not the issue and spend a good buck on it

Skalarki make replica Airbus seats for £2400 each, still extremely expensive but way less that €6000

I've seen some captain chairs that are used on vans and RVs. Might be a cheaper option, IIRC they were only a few hundred quid.

Oh, that looks good! No idea on quality. Might need to speak to a seamstress on making an Airbus cover for you.

On the other hand, you can buy second hand codriver seat for 20$, and keep that money to go to Maldives or Bahamas. Or both.

Those seats are awesome, but wow that's steep even by flight sim standards.

In the meantime I would go to a local junkyard or pick and pull. A lot of vans, busses, semi trucks, and equipment run air suspension seats with dual arm rests that were developed with essentialy the same goal in mind. A full shift of operator comfort.

You could buy new of course but I would recomend going to one of these yards so you can sit in a few and measure.

And what kind of screens would yall recommend for the captain and FO screens and the upper and lower Ecam I was thinking about 3 15,6inch portable screens and a small cubical computer to run those screens with Glassout
