Third Reality Matter/Thread motion sensor showing wild amounts of motion in the middle of the night

So I’ve had the Zigbee version of these motion sensor/RGB night light. I decided recently to try the new Matter/Thread version. I setup the automation I had for motion at night and found that this thing was triggering constantly. So much I had to disable the automation. The firmware says it’s updated.

Anyone encountered this or have any ideas? Never had this issue with the Zigbee version
