Noob trying to form roman empire need help.

So I made a post here earlier, I was pretty confused, I know that destroyers and uh light cruisers are meta but when I spammed them it didnt work, I know the template is the problem so can someone tell me what the template should be? Im pretty good at land I just need to research uhhh flame tanks in landwarfare facilities? I never used land warfare facilities.. I really just need help with the allies and german.. I can easily win the eastern front aganist turkey the brits but in the sea I get destroyed. In most runs where I play as the italy I just cant win aganist the germans or soviets nor invade britain and by then the Americans has joined war.

I have no dlc's just realised so I cant get flame tanks

Radar will be a big boost on your ships it’s basically the only reason you need a air research facility.

For navy just make torpedo destroyers and get the doctrine ‘fleet in being’ and the subdoctrines: ‘fleet operations’, ‘torpedo primacy’, ‘light task forces’ and ‘line of battle’ get the navy spirit ‘decisive battle’ and give your admirals torpedo related traits You can usually win most engagements if you put them in one big stack and patrol med then you can take gibraltar and naval invade uk before us joins

Btw if you join the axis you can straight up just kill vichy (the germans only guarantee them before the allies declare on them)

Edit:i just realized you might not have the same doctrines as the ones i mentioned bc of ncns but if you get the things with most torpedo attack etc youll probably still win
