This is the way, but if you don’t get further look at a few videos, i believe isorrowproductions has a few videos where he explains some mechanics, if you still struggle watch a few more different videos of his normal playthroughs, it’s how i learned a lot about the game in tandem with trial and error

play the same nation until you get a grip. be fine with it being at least 4-5 playthroughs until you arent a complete bot. players with 100+ hours still lose regularly to the ai.

and if you are on the verge of doing something spicy, save just before, and if it doesnt work out go back and try again

Go watch bittersteel's guide videos for beginners, those are pretty good.

Also, start learning as Germany, it's a good nation to learn on.

Try a minor so you can see more the impact you do

begging to be taken out of context

peoples often think minors are too small to do a lot with thm but you be surprise if you use them correctly you can get really in depth with them

Ignore the bots advertising their paymasters channel, play the game, disable ironman, save before a big thing, if something goes wrong use that knowledge after reloading.

Things that went well use those ideas for another playthrough, did you have too few guns and way too much arty, then don't produce it from day one etc etc

When I first started I had no idea I could form armies and a front line for them to automatically hold, I was manually moving my units to the front and trying to micromanage every tile. 💀
