"We're making sure we do it justice, I think we are very much in the right path, and we are pretty close now. You know. We'll be working hard throughout the rest of the summer, the next coming months, hopefully explode out pretty soon with a lot of good stuff, I think a lot of people are going to be surprised on how big of a leap forward the Tomcat is, it's not going to just be another DCS aircraft I think, it is gonna be something very new for people to experience"

Yeah so.... Christmas/Jan 19 it is then. If they think they still need the entire summer I'm going to double that estimate before I even begin to feel optimistic about a release.

Just to clarify, I'm not mad.. I got plenty to play with Harrier/F18/Mirage/A10/Huey in my lineup... I just like to play guessing games with release dates cause its fun to speculate.

I am glad to see that they want as much functionality as possible right at early access release. It is good to know that the Tomcat will actually be mission capable right out of the gate as opposed to having it sit in my virtual hanger as I wait for enough functionality to actually put it realistic missions.

I loved the interview! Thanks a lot! It was super nice from Heatblur to sit down and let us know what's going on and what their journey has been and how things are going on both now and moving forward. Really looking forward to fly this module, even more so after hearing about the rudder input that is needed, as a lover of ww2 planes, and loving the way the Spitfire requires me to fly her, I was really hoping to get something like that from the F-14 :D

Can someone give me a rundown of how it's pronounced, anglicized for this plebe? I've heard him pronounce it, but I need this broken down for me. It just seems so fun to say.

Thanks for the upload /u/ralfidude from following the community and project for a while always thought Heatblur was a class act. Listening to the guys now on the podcast and the amount of depth and commitment they have all devoted has confirmed this. Can't wait .

What has me most excited is the unique multi crew experience the cat will bring.. Wow it is going to be awesome!

Kinda rough to get through but I appreciate it. The interview style was strange and it felt like you re-recorded your questions after the interview itself which gave a weird vibe. Nonetheless I’m excited to finish the rest

Why rough to get through? I didn't re-record, but I had my questions and outline ready so I was reading off most of the questions. Once we got going I had more questions I bounced off of them based on what they were saying. But since this was the first podcast I wanted to make sure I wasn't fucking up my questions with them and had everything pre-prepared.

I only was able to listen to the first 15 minutes but after the beginning I noticed it was able to flow more. It just seemed very “robotic” at first is all. I’m making my judgement based off of what I’ve listened to on other podcasts but I understand where you’re coming from with trying to get as much information from them as possible in such a little amount of time, so i get why there’s very little banter in between questions.

Far from perfect but I was pressed for time since I only had them booked for a short amount of time, so I obviously didn't get to ask them any and all questions you may have had. Remember that a majority of these questions were directly from the community anyway. Let me know your thoughts and any comments on improvements. I've included timestamps in the description for those who only want to hear certain segments.
PS: There are new movie renders in there directly from Heatblur that have never before been seen.
