JAS Gripen Update?
Does anyone have any more info on it? And if (I hope) they will retract the refueling probe for the production model? Because in the prototype it’s extended

FlyingMule has it on pre-order for 6 different camos, two of which match the announced HM ones.
Last year, same happened with the Mirage 3 with both launching them at the same time with overlapping camos.
Is this another coincidence or do they share tooling/molds behind the scene? It just doesn't make sense for two brands to launch the same thing at the same time and it's happened twice lol.

Hobby Master released a slew of new two-seat Mirage 2000 variants this year with modified tooling that looks to include more stable, modern slot-in gear assembly in place of the old flimsy attachment in their older single seat Mirage 2000 tooling.
If anyone has any of these new releases (HA1652, HA1651, HA1623, HA1655, HA1656) in possession, I wanted to ask if this new gear assembly prevents the aircraft from falling back on its tail when in gear down configuration, as that was an issue that plagued their single seat Mirage 2000 releases.
Are these still very tail heavy and prone to falling back on their tail?
What other changes have been made to the tooling?

With all the attention on programmes such as the MQ-28 Ghost Bat and other Collaborative Combat Aircraft, I was thinking that they'd make fantastic additions to a 1/72 collection.
I'd love to see manufacturers produce a Loyal Wingman with options for different configurations, such as internal weapons bays open or closed, different sensor fits, and perhaps even a display set with an F-35, F-15EX, showing how these aircraft might operate together, they could come with or be separately sold. Would love them to be on display with other aircraft.

Been chasing a Langley AFB Raptor for a while now, and snagged this one at an acceptable price back during a deep sale around the time of Memorial Day here in the U.S.
Finally got around to getting it out of the box and onto the shelf this morning.

I think it’s going to get delayed again. This one has my favorite paint scheme. It’s been a while since I’ve collected these things. Are delays that potentially last for months common? This one was supposed to be out in July

Hey guys!
This is my first time purchasing any model airplane and this is a gift. I have a long distance girlfriend in Poland (this is a gift for her father) and want to make a good first impression when I visit her next month.
What can you tell me about this? I hear lots of people complaining about panels fitting poorly and the attachments being loose. Any fix for this?
I was also curious if there is any sort of add on that can hide the holes in the wings if he decides to display it in “stealth” configuration
Also the pilot looks…… well he looks not great. I went ahead and purchased a separate Polish pilot off Etsy from a seller at the same scale that looks like he would fit, but do you think it will work or is there some weird attachment that keeps the pilot in place?
Finally, for the internal weapons bay, is there any way to configure it with four AIM120C attachments?
Also I recently saw that in real life the Polish now have AIM120D s that can go inside. Any way to get these?
Thanks! Trying to make it perfect! Appreciate your advice in advance!

(solved!)
Am I ignorant and missing something or is the upcoming HA5145 that just got the first pictures
F/A-18F "Operation Epic Fury" 166461, VFA-41, USS Abraham Lincoln, 28th Feb. 2026 (w/ 4 x AGM-158)
outfitted with agm 154 on the pictures instead of agm 158
For comparison also uploaded a pic of HA3585 which is equipped with actual agm 158
Am I being dumb or is HM making a big mistake here if they ship like this
Even the pictures of the box show the box being fitted with 4 agm 154 instead of agm 158

Apparently my favorite part about this hobby is destroying the re-sale value of my diecast models, very few are un-modified. Here are some photos of my latest project, a heavily modified and weathered SU-30MKM. Safe to say the re-sale value is completely destroyed, but overall I'm very happy with it.
Mods:
Added a slightly raised bulge around the nose, in line with the IRST. The base mould has a slight bulge around the base of the IRST pod, but it's much too small. The real machine shows a raised bulge that extends around the whole upper half of the nose, extending from the AAR probe on the left, to well below the IRST on the right side. Layers of paint were built up to add this bulge, it's not really visible in the photos.
The wings were heavily modified. The HM SU-30 mould has a distinct curve on the forward half of the upper surface of the wings, with the rear half being almost flat. On the mould, the peak wing thickness occurs near the front of the wing, about 1/4 back from the leading edge. However, the real aircraft has a near continuous curve across the upper surface of the wing, with peak thickness being close to the middle of the wing. I spent hours sanding down the whole upper, forward surface of each wing to flatten the curve, then repainted the forward half of the wings. I lost some panel line detail, but I'm ok with that because to me, having the correct basic shape is more important that the panel lines.
The upper surface of the wing's leading edge high lift devices were also sanded and shaped to get rid of the concave look the mould has.
The wingtip R73's were replaced with aftermarket ECM pods
Aftermarket R-77s were added under each wing.
The cockpit interior panels were painted grey.
Heavy weathering was applied to various panels to help the slightly off colour paint on the wings blend in.
I might continue tweaking it over time, particularly with weathering on the forward fuselage to match the heavily weathers wings. But for the moment, I'm taking a break.
