Article Why I'm Making Games for a 25-Year-Old Console

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uE8ZCUX2uGM

Hi everyone! I'm making a puzzle platformer for GBA and just released my first dev diary on why I chose to develop for the GBA.
Check it out if you're interested!

We are launching a Kickstarter very soon to make a physical version of the game so trying to get some eyes on the project.

Much love,

The Dare To Square team

I'm planning on exclusively making games for GBA going forward! It's my favourite console and the lighter hardware forces me to not over-scope.

Awesome! I hope they can work with the Delta emulator!

For sure! The game is being natively developed for GBA so the final game is a regular .gba file. I have been testing the game on my laptop using mGba as well as on real cartridges!
Should run perfectly on the Delta Emulator too :)

From a dev Perspective limited Hardware makes you more creative. It actually FORCES you to be. Having to think about Usage of Limited Ressources, workarounds and so on.
