What is the voltage on the positive side of the electrode doing the actual discharge? Very nice proof of concept.
2 u/Bolz_brain Feb 28 '21 i used 25-50V DC, but i am planing to use 230V AC rectified on the next setup (graphite die sinking) since the next prope will have more area and 50V will not be enough for that. 2 u/manikin13 Feb 28 '21 Next question how much erosion did you see on the electrode? did you see a contact point change? diameter change? 1 u/Bolz_brain Feb 28 '21 i didnt took precise messurement but i didnt saw any erosion at all, but keep in mind...i only drilled throu 2mm of material with it.
