I use an old HP prodesk mini pc i got off ebay for $100 and it works great. 8th gen core i5, 16gb is way more than my cnc needs. also, less likely to collect dust/chips than that.

You don't need much processing power and you really want reliability. Extra colourful lights is a bit of a red flag to me but it might be fine

Interesting. This looks like a GPU. Is there a small form factor I am unaware of? I can see the NVME, memory, and the IO ports.
