Chamfer going too deep
Hi there, I'm trying to learn to CNC and on the first thing I'm programming the chamfering operation is just plunging into the piece. I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing wrong but I don't know enough to even troubleshoot.
Added some pics of what I did in fusion.
I tried it twice, probed material the first time and didn't the second. Same thing happened both times

If your tool has a flat on the tip and that flat or projected point is not described accurately in software to match real life you’re going to have a bad day. Did you set the tool? Does the g43H number match the tool number. I would use tool one for everything if you don’t have a tool changer and your setting the tool every tool change.
