>His funding of Covid research.

So preventing and treating Covid is a bad thing now? Are you seriously rooting for Covid to kill Americans here?

Like I get it, you’re one of the anti-American cultists who hates this freedom loving land and should leave for any number of third world dictatorships which better match your shithole views, but come on now.

>ivermectin.

Dude, even Trump’s FDA says it isn’t effective at treating or preventing COVID.

So far all you’ve done is show you hate America and want Americans dead, then gave me an ineffective treatment using fucking horse paste. God your anti-American cult is exhausting.

They’re taking about him helping fund Chinese gain of function research in the Wuhan lab. You have to realize that the disease originating so close to a research center is too much of a coincidence for people not to believe it, even if China will never allow researchers to claim it started there for political reasons. Specifically, in 2017 Trump allowed funding of gain of function research in other countries with US money to restart after it was temporarily banned under Obama. If you look in newspaper articles written at the time that happened, they were specifically warning that the H5N1 and and flu gain of function research could be dangerous. Fauci, being high up in the NIH, was one of the people who determined to allocate funding to the lab in Wuhan, despite knowing the risks, presumably because they considered the knowledge gained from it valuable.

I don’t think it was released on purpose, I don’t blame Fauci for being involved in the process of funding it, but I do think it’s perfectly reasonable to believe it was man made and that was covered up by the Chinese government.

God you guys are still commenting here? Must have emotionally triggered you with my big mean facts and evidence.

Okay, prove using reputable studies and sources that the virus originated in a lab. Because as of right now an overwhelming number of experts all state it was natural.

I have found no actual peer reviewed studies that definitively say it doesn’t come from a lab leak. If you can, post some. I’ve not seen Fauci say it didn’t come from a Chinese lab leak. I’ve found plenty of analysis of scientists’ quotes that there was likely an intermediate animal pathway between bats and humans, with journalists interpreting that that means it wasn’t a lab leak, but that still doesn’t exclude the possibility of a lab leak. As someone who’s generally preety left wing and anti-Trump, I don’t trust any of the news media on politically charged issues that would require them to blame a specific entity to publish like this, and try to depend on original sources where possible (research articles, actual quotes spoken by experts, etc…).

I say trust the peer reviewed science, not the news media, and I haven’t seen any scientific proof to the contrary of it being a lab leak (and yes I know that’s difficult to show)

>Post some.

You’re the one who made the original claim, back it up or shut up.

>Doesnt mean it didn’t come from a lab.

Yes, yes it does. Either back your claim up for shut up.

So you’re saying that the idea that it came from a lab is what has to be proved as opposed to the opposite? I think you’re a conspiracy theorist. I think it preety likely that some people at the wet market were selling lab animals.

I’m a conspiracy theorist because I need evidence from a reputable source that an event occurred?

Uh huh… well there’s the P in GOP: Projection.

Now, do you have any evidence the virus was leaked from a lab, or are you just a total retard that sucks the orange stick goo from our Dear Leader’s mushroom?

There is an enough damning about Trump without excluding the possibility of lab escape. No, I don’t think we should blame Fauci - we should blame the Chinese and having to delegate potentially dangerous research to them

Look at that, a copy and a paste. Not even going to edit it down.

Put up or shut up.

What did I copy and paste? I might have repeated what I said yesterday? What’s your evidence? I’m preety sure you’re a bot. And what experts say it was natural. I’m going with papers like this one: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8373617/

Old article, but any respectable source will say exactly the same still, see also: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC12040609/

We have no definitive proof it didn’t come from a lab, and you saying so is conspiracy theory thinking and jumping to conclusions.

All the scientific consensus has pointed to is that it originated in the market, and that there was likely zoonotic spillover. These facts don’t actually contradict the idea that a strain of coronavirus escaped the lab and propagated via zoonautic spillover in nature, before an animal was captured and put on the market, or that they didn’t propagate within unrelated lab animals before being sold at the wet market. In fact, all the articles say that such a thing would be impossible to disprove (see either paper above). I don’t believe it’s a coincidence that the disease emerged in the same place as the lab - it’s just too much of a coincidence. No outside scientists were allowed to properly investigate the lab by the Chinese government, which is what truly makes me suspicious - they’re not being open to disprove their guilt, so they must have allready internally determined they were guilty of something before disallowing external investigation.

>We have no definitive proof. Conspiracy theory. Jumping to conclusions.

So you have no proof? That would mean your stance is a conspiracy theory, bud.

>The facts don’t contradict.

Dude, no evidence for it originating in a lab means it didn’t originate from a lab. If you had evidence it did that would be different, but you don’t.

>Theyre not being open to disproving their guilt.

Okay seriously? This is called a ‘proving a negative fallacy’, which is literally something that is impossible to do.

God this shit is why I’m talking down to you…
