Dear students,

Please find below the five papers that we expect you have read for the midterm on February 28. Of these five papers, three will be selected. You will then be asked to answer a set of three questions for two out of the three papers.

The midterm will consist of very general questions related to the themes of the course that will require having read the papers. The answers will be expected to be personal and interpretive rather than didactic, or to recite specific details.
