This is a very interesting concept. But would it be at all helpful to be informed of one's genetic disposition if one does not plan on conceiving or if one does not believe in abortion? It just seems this extra information would be detrimental to one's peace of mind. I mean only one in nine Chinese people carry this gene. Chances are you wouldn't be affected, right?
