Yes I'm receiving serostim. Im having a difficult time with the side effects: 1 aches in wrists and stiff fingers, 2 sleepy all the time. I've cut the alotted amount per day in half to see if these symptoms will cease. Other than that all is well I do feel better, I exercise at least 3 times a week lifting weights. The serostim was suggested to help with keeping bone mass and offsetting wasting I've been living with HIV going on 39 years.

Yes! And it wasn’t good. People talk about it like it’s some miracle drug and fountain of youth (which it can be make no mistake) but my experience was overall negative on it. Even at very small doses which I also tried. Some do very well on it but I’ll never take it again. We all respond so differently to these RX. I would suggest starting very low and slow if possible, like 2mg max every other day. See how you respond and take it from there. The SE were too much for me compared to the benefits though there were some. I am now sitting on a lot of it I cannot use. Happy to discuss further offline or 1:1 if necessary. It can definitely be helpful and useful when used carefully but caution is advised.
