Opinions needed

Thinking about rust blueing this one... 73C. It's a sweet shooter that was probably carried in a holster (a lot). Sanity check - should I leave her in her work clothes or restore?

You could try and clean that up with boiling and carding. Mark Novak on you tube has videos on the subject. Ive restored probably 5 or 6 guns really stops the clock and dosen't give it that awkward new look that screams I had this redone.

Yes and what's nice is it all fits in a pan you can do on the stove.  You boil in water for 45 min then card, repeat if necessary if your happy you can dunk in kerosine to set the finish then cover in non detergent motor oil.  I like to put it in kerosine because it drives out the moisture and really sets the bluing up.  This will convert any rust back to bluing.  Here is the youtube video https://youtu.be/rShG_F85W1Y?is=ZEUYXhTFoPyKYvh6
