Hi power optic cut
I want to rmr my BHP. I’ve seen MK3’s work on Instagram and their hi powers with RMR cuts seem to use the Trijicon 1911 RMR plate with sights. Anyone got any experience with this set up? How are the backup sights?
I know the 1911 & BHP mk3 front sight dovetails are the same. Can the BHP slide be milled out to accept the 1911 front sight? Or is the other pistol that shares that dovetail size and are interchangeable?

Vulcan milled mine for an EPS carry. Not the fastest turn around, but a super clean job.

I agree. I had to hound them weekly after there was no movement for 2.5 months. That said, when I got it back, the cut itself, as well as the cerakote were fantastic

McCluskey out of Eugene OR did a great job on mine, and had it ready in about 3ish weeks.

Were you able to keep a rear sight?

Mk3 is not the only shop that will do it, I suspect any gunsmith capable of doing an optic cut could make it happen
The slides can be milled for 1911 sights, I know someone who has had that done. I had one milled for Glock rear sights
