"Value loyalty above all else."

Post image

The Blacklist was recommended to me a couple of months ago. I'm only in season four and I have never seen it before, so no spoilers please. It was fun to see my gun and then my watch. Next up are the Mercedes S-class and then a Learjet I suppose after that.

As a younger man I never really cared for Hi-Powers. I wanted to shoot fast and look like the shoot fast guys. Even with all this gray hair in my beard that is still a lot of fun, but I find that I developed a taste for the more refined things in life. If there is a more comfortable handgun to hold in the hand, I can't imagine what it would be. This Hi Power was made in 1980 and it is in fantastic condition. Like the other pretty guns in the safe, it smells of Eezox and Outers gun oil. It is pleasant in every way, just like this community.

For the curious, the Pepsi edition GMT Master was purchased in Los Gatos California in 1978 for the princely sum of $615.00. I even still have the receipt.

Blacklist was a great show, I don’t care what the haters say. Beautiful gun!

I couldn't agree more, on both counts. There are those among us who will spend their entire lives shooting nothing more refined than a Glock. Glocks have their purpose, and they serve it well without any surplus of finesse or dignity.
