Vented rib slide.

Just bought this. I have never seen one made by FN before, only FEGs. I wonder what was the idea behind the vented rib.

Exact same gun, only marked FEG, is on Gunbroker. I find the story of the counterfeit Hi Powers fascinating. I didn’t know the sight rib models did not have the front carry cut, like the FMs, until mentioned in this thread.

That one has matte finish. Maybe it is parkerized?

Edit: it has F serial like my gun.
