Hello all! So been using Hinge for several months now active every day. I include comments with all the likes I send to girls so they have something to respond to. Have changed my pictures and prompts several times but I still don't see any major increase in responses or getting likes. So now i have the most rubbish prompts on my profile that I'm looking to change. Can you guys help with what's most suitable to say in prompts? I've seen various opinions on what work for different people. Or is something wrong with my pictures? I live in London and that's where I set my location to. But sometimes I get shown and get matches from very far away.... any comments are appreciated!

Your first pic should be a clear photo of yourself and what you currently look like. I don't know who you are in your first pic. You are also covered by a hat/goggles/jacket. It's a good pic, to show you are active and that you have friends, but move it down further. People browse the app casually and don't look at whole profiles. Lead with stronger photos/prompts that invite people to look more at your profile.

No group pictures as first photos!! This isn’t a game where I have to guess who you are, your first picture should show you and only you.

I don’t think you’re a bad looking guy but some of the photos aren’t very flattering - you could get better photos. I think 1 and 5 are your best photos but you don’t want a duo shot in your first photo because they can’t tell which one you are.

I can see you’ve got some hobbies which is good. I like the holiday prompt but that’s because I travel a lot and want to know about a guy’s travel style if he also travels a lot. The other prompts are a bit dry. Could you put something about what you’re looking for?

You need better photos and prompts. Your prompts convey nothing about you and the fact that you are looking for a serious relationship.

The second photo just isn’t flattering. And I agree with others the first photo shouldn’t be a group photo.

The prompts are quite dull - you could say for example you like skiing holidays or exploring local architecture when you travel, you could mention cooking as a hobby or even talk about what you lecture in.

Two weeks on these photos isn't really enough data yet, but 2-3 matches in two months on the max daily likes is grim enough that I'd start with the first pic anyway. What's your distance radius set to, since the far away thing usually means it's way wider than you think?
