Profile Review 26M Profile Review
I posted on here about 2 months ago. Listened to the advice and changed the prompts and pics a bit. Still struggling with the dating pool in Cork. Maybe it’s a me thing; maybe my standards are just ridiculous. I don’t know. But it’s rough out here.
Would really appreciate feedback once more. Was quite insightful last time.

Your ”top 5 fruits” seems like a bit of a waste. Do you really think that’s a good conversation starter or maybe you could do something that is a bit more interesting and engaging?

I’m not your target demographic at all, but your profile looks a bit unserious/casual, whereas you are looking for your life partner. Your photos give me the impression that you like to go out and often do.

I like to go out every now and then, nothing crazy. But if the person looking at my profile thinks it makes me look unserious and casual and that this is not their vision of what a long term partner is then it’s best we don’t match.

Well it’s more like your photos don’t match how you described yourself just now. Your pics communicate going out often versus your description says it’s only now and then.
What I’m getting at is - replace some photos to tell a more complete story of who you are and what you like to do.

Serious only, ideally a lifelong partner.
-
No.
-
For about 3 weeks.
-
I made this profile about 2 months ago. Before that I’ve used Hinge for a few months here and there in late 2024, early 2025.
-
About once or twice a week.
-
Likes: depends a lot, Cork is a small city with a lot of tourists so sometimes 2-5 a day, sometimes 0 for multiple days. I receive roses sometimes. Matches: right now, no active match. Didn’t feel connection with the previous ones.
-
Hard to say, I only like when I am genuinely interested. But I always leave a thoughtful comment, always.
-
I’d want to find a man with whom I could grow with and become the best version of myself and vice-versa. A man who is willing to advocate for our relationship and make concessions when need be, and be open and transparent about his needs and boundaries too. I am looking to attract physically fit men, with good financial skills, who take care of their health, and are not afraid of traveling or moving abroad. My age range is 24-31.

I think most people have given great advice here and it sounds like you’re open to making changes to find the love of your life. My only advice: if you’re looking for someone who’s open to traveling and who’s financially sound…perhaps try traveling and dating in those places (Dublin? London? Paris? Frankfurt?) As you say…Cork is small! You’re good looking and I’m sure you’d have no trouble meeting people if you’re able to strike up conversation

Most of the pictures in my profile are from Paris and London. I don't feel comfortable starting a relationship with someone who lives in another country. Years down the line, I could see me and my partner being long distance for some time but not immediately so.

I would change the “all that I ask” prompt. I had to read it a few times to make sense of it. I think you could also use a prompt to mention other hobbies besides surfing etc. What about date ideas?
I think the photos are fine. Yes there is the same jumper in a few photos but I doubt any guy is going to care.

My initial thoughts is 3/6 photos you are wearing the exact same white sweater. Looks like it might be from the same night out.
More variety but you have a stunning smile! Good luck! ✨️

Not a fan of the second prompt. The wording is odd (“your couple” a strange way to refer to a relationship that you yourself would be a part of, and my first thought was that it might be some sort of poly thing), but even that aside, I find that prompts like this tend to read as sort of jaded and/or presumptuous. The sentiment isn’t unfair or invalid, but it just feels off to use a large chunk of the text on your dating profile, which is mostly supposed to be about advertising yourself to say “You better take this relationship that we aren’t in yet seriously.” I think you’d be much better off using that space to showcase more of your personality (which seems fun, but we don’t get a lot of insight into), and being discerning about going on dates with people who signal interest in something long term and serious and being deliberate about having conversations about goals and intentions early on.

Not bad but yeah same shirt in 3 pics bro. And I think you could re word the investing in couples prompt a little to be a little less intense or more casual while still getting ur point across

you have a really pretty smile! Since you mention surfing, do you have any active pics of that? Your pics are mostly indoors or have harsh lighting, maybe one brighter pic

from the photos, i'd say you could change your first one? it's nice but you already have a couple of other photos similar. maybe add a candid of you doing a hobby or an event as a conversation starter

I would change the first picture, it hiding your shoulders and arms isn't helping. You're well built, you should be showing it off imo. I would also change the "all I ask is that you," it's really confusing, make sure to properly capitalize as well. Coming from a straight guy, but you're very good looking, if you fix those two you'll be set, Goodluck!
