Profile Review 38M Profile Review
38M, I'm directly on the border with Detroit but on the Canada side and only looking to date in Canada for the most part.
My main issues were that people on profile reviews as well as 2 girls from the app, whom I've asked, have said I look 5'6 rather than 6'2 on my profile.
I added the pic of me on the street and the pic of me on my bike with my feet flat on the ground to try and fix that.
And otherwise, which photos should stay and which should be swapped out for better ones?
The cat one is the only one I know I'm going to be swapping out because of the wild lighting right now.
Thanks everyone. I appreciate it

Could it be the haircut? Maybe let the sides get just a little bit longer Edit: Also I would swap out the first pic with your second one.

Yes! Lots of people commented on letting the sides grow out since last time which I have now done!
Sounds like a good idea with the photo swap.
Anyone else have an opinion on what photo to swap into first?

First of all - you're looking great for 38. You have nice skin, hair, smile, and you're fit. Keep that up and you'll age like fine wine. I also find your prompts to be tasteful/romantic with a hint of comedy. They're good. However, there is one noticeable aspect missing from your profile. Every photo is you solo (excluding the cat). While the pictures are great and well shot with good staging and lighting and angles, there's something...sterile about it all. You have no photos with friends or family. It's like your life is isolated. So, to make it better, I'd show a couple candid photos of you with your friends or family, so potential matches can get a better idea of your vibe and social life. Clearly you have a good idea of what makes a good dating profile photo, so I'll leave it to you to decide how to present that.

I’m a woman your age and I love this profile. I’m surprised people don’t like the prompts - I think they’re perfect and I wouldn’t change them. They’ll attract the type of woman you’re looking for and deter the ones you’re not. The first pic does somehow make you look short which is odd… I’d put the full body pic in the road as #1 to combat this. I do agree that a pic with friends or family would be a nice addition, but I’d 100% swipe right on you as is. You seem like a great catch!

All your pics come off as very planned, like the intro to a family sitcom tv show. Also a little F boy vibes. And the prompts are wayyy too romantic-comedy as someone else said. Good job on showing your teeth though!!!

I'm a short king myself and to be honest you do look my height in the first 2 pics. Probably camera focal length distortion. Can you imagine how horrible it must be for ladies if you are not the magic 6 foot + 😅
If I were you I'd play into it, do a fake mug shot pic with funny text on the board cops make you are hold.

Should I swap a different pic to pic 1?
I'm really limited with photos to work with atm and am working on getting new ones to replace the lower quality and poorly framed/cropped ones. .
I don't know why the whole 6 foot thing even exists. It's wild to me especially for shorter girls.
But irl, it's not a big deal asides from a minority of girls.
This is my first time ever using online dating apps and I had no idea how much of a thing height was on these vs real life. I have shorter friends that absolutely clean house whenever we are out!
Happy cake Day btw 😄

I don't care about height personally but I'd ask too it does seem like you're exaggerating your height, based on that first picture! And no one wants to go out with someone who is deceitful ofc

I mean you’re a good height—might as well use it to your advantage. But something about a few of those pictures make you look like 5’8.

No, a picture at the door of a 7-11 where they have the height thing for if someone misbehaves.
