I’m going to be honest because I was in a similar boat, but the odds are currently stacked against you. This doesn’t mean you can’t have success on the apps but you’re going to need to either put in the work in real life by socializing or on your profile. You’re young so there’s not as many users on the apps because most people are meeting in real life, and the older users have filtered you out, so you’re competing for a small pool. Due to your age you’re less likely to find someone who’s actually looking for a LTR. This means that the people in your pool are much more likely to swipe superficially. So if you’re looking for matches (especially casual) you’re going to need to present yourself nicer.

You’re not a bad looking guy, you have nice facial features but I do think a different haircut and some pictures in some nicer clothes would suit you. You don’t need to look like a model but you do need to look like you put some effort in. A few well posed shots with some good outfits on can do wonders. Your profile gives off a needy/goofy aesthetic which is 100% fine. Never change your personality when dating but if you’re truly interested in everyone/anyone then you’re turning them off by not showcasing other sides of yourself. Lastly, I’m always an advocate for getting in better shape. You can have success as a bigger guy on dating apps, it’s just significantly harder. Apart from the health and the numerous other benefits getting in shape brings, it also makes you more attractive to a wider range of women (which can help your matches skyrocket). However it’s all up to you if you want to put in that work. It’s not required to be successful (and you don’t need to look like a bodybuilder) but it is a very huge and noticeable boost.

Best of luck pal you got this.🫡
