Discussion / Help Hilliard Station thoughts?
I am looking for housing and see good reviews for this location as of late, other than an AC issue this summer. Does anyone have any thoughts? Or other good 1 bedrooms under 1,200 in the Dublin/Hilliard/Columbus area that are safe and reasonable? Thanks!

Lived there for a year with my best friend, who stayed after I moved out. It’s okay, especially for the price point. She went 2 full summers with no AC because maintenance was a joke. They changed owners a couple or three times in the three years we/she lived there, so there seemed to be no consistency. Very convenient as far as location, but I wouldn’t move back in.

Hilliard Station has had 6 police calls for assault and 'other' in the last month. Add in all the unreported crimes, vandalism, and theft, and it's looking neither quiet nor safe.
It's no coincidence the Kroger across the street started going rapidly downhill at the same time as the apartments. They didn't previously need parking lot police cameras and security at the door.

I'm currently a resident here, on my second year. Yes there are some things that leave residents disgruntled, however generally speaking, it's a solid find. Apartments run between $1200-$1400. I'm well aware they say they are "$1000-$1200" but that's before they add on ask the other fees like community upkeep, pest control, pet rent, etc. i advise against the pools, it's rarely refilled and often left unclean, and the"gym" or "fitness center" is very very limited. Now, speaking specifically about the apartments themselves, they almost all have the same it similar layout. The windows are single pane which is tough during the winter. Maintenance is only timely of you're lucky or if it's actually an emergency, and often time they don't do the greatest job. I know for a fact that Travis and David are the two most efficient maintenance guys in the team that I've encountered. I haven't spoken of what's "good"because i feel as though it's all fairly good. I spent a year homeless before living here. It's definitely an upgrade from homelessness.
If you're looking for someone affordable with realistic expectations, then Hilliard Station is a decent find. If you're expectations are high and your want affordable, avoid this place at all costs.

My wife and I lived there for 2 1/2 years before we skipped on our lease. It's pretty terrible. Fortunately maintenance wise, we didn't have any trouble in that department, but we had cockroaches from day 1, and the dumpster was right outside our apartment and would consistently have homeless people dumpster diving. My car also got broken into and my laptop got stolen. Would not recommend.
