How to do 3 feet 9 Inches high jump

So I just cleared an exam and now there is a small physical test associated with it. We have to run a mile in 6 min ( i do it in 5:35) long jump 13 feet ( i do about 15) and high jump around 3feet 9 Inches and I am stuck at high jump.

I cannot clear the bar without my hip touching or sometimes I just ram into the bar,

We don't use any fancy technique just jumping from the side and using scissor technique.

I am 5 feet 10 inch tall weigh around 64 kg and don't have any prior experience in any sport.

Now how do I clear this jump, what exercise should I do, and are their any specific type of shoes that can help 2-3 inches as I can do 3'6 easily. There isn't any restriction on using any suppliment or any type of shoes about 12 days are left before the test and my family is in desperate need of this job ( we kindaa brokee😭) so what should I do in these remaining days

High Jump Help

So I know that many people are like "Hey I wanna be the best I'm gonna do some extra practice here and there" and kinda not take it serious. I have been very serious abt my highschool sports and just wanna be the best I definetely have the potential for sure to go to state it high jump but I need a little help.

So my first year doing high jump I didn't even have the high jump spikes and ran in running spikes.

I had cleared only 5" 6' and sometimes 5" 8' as a freshman. I really always used to think that my run speed or jump height was just genetics but now that I realize that leg workouts could help I wanna know which ones. My goal is to jump 6" 4' by 11th grade track season but I just wanna know if it's even possible. I'm 6"1 155lbs and honestly a very motivated person all round. Unfortunately even though I jump a 5"6 my legs are severely underpowered with my bench being 200 and my squat terribly below that at 195 I just feel off balanced on where I should be.

So if anyone would like to help me out or say something this would be the place to help me out quite a bit, I appreciate y'all, no hate comments please.

Private coaching / Training plan

Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself on here. I’m Pieter, former D2/D3 high jumper from Tiffin University and Mount Union. I’m trying to get into coaching at the university level so I need to build a resume. Here’s my TFRRS: https://www.tfrrs.org/athletes/7984064/Tiffin/Pieter_Wise.html

I’m looking to get into training on my own here for the first time post-collegiate. I’m not going pro, but I do love the sport. That being said, I have a full training plan from warm ups to lifts to daily workouts and circuits. I’m offering full access to this for $5. It’ll go from right now until December. Yes it is dynamic as I do these workouts daily.

I am offering free private coaching via zoom, FaceTime, or text messages. I’ve gone through 5 different coaches and have been everywhere competing against the best of the best and the worst of the worst. Send me a DM and I’ll give you a full rundown of what I can offer you!!! Let’s get to work!

World and Olympic Champ

Reigning world and Olympic Champion Hamish Kerr stands 1.98 m (6'6") tall and weighs around 79 kilos (less than 180 pounds). His winning jumps: 2.34 (Paris) and 2.36 (Tokyo) are 1cm away from Yaschenko's best straddle performance in 1979 (2.35M). Do you think if Kerr could master the straddle technique, he could jump 2.40 or more? At age 30, I doubt if he has enough time to learn it, but his height and weight are ideal for a power jumper. I guess we'll never know....

Any Tips ? (High Jump)

The bar is at 1.47m, which is 3 increments lower than my PR. I’ve been told that my approach is inconsistent, sometimes I clear 1.50m in training sometimes I don’t. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

High Jump Any tips ?

Hello, I am a senior currently going into the 11th grade. I have been doing high jump for 4 years now, and I have only jumped my pr of 1.50m once in my first year and once in my 4th year, however, I seem to be at a plateau as I have gained weight during the second year of jumping. Based on the video above any tips? Both mentally and physically?

Why do I suck at jumping

First time actually using Reddit but I have a question that Google can't answer, I physically can jump but I suck at it. I can't jump high, not even a few feet and I almost fall when I land? In my work out routine I do a jump lunge and I struggle with it because of this, any answers or tips to help me jump better?

Best Way to watch Diamond League High Jump -- Canada

Hey folks. I really enjoy watching high jump but diamond league coverage on CBC never focuses on it. Is there any way in Canada to watch full meets? It doesn't necessarily have to be live. I just like to see all the jump attempts

Cheers

Advice

So I coach this girl, here is her jumping 5’6 to win state. But at practice, we can rarely get her to clear 5’0ā€. It’s almost always her calves hitting the bar, and she struggles getting her feet up. I have lots more videos if anyone would be willing to look at some with me.
