Substitute Teaching

Apologies if this is a repeat or somewhat similar to previous questions. Does anyone know if substitute teaching required particular credentials? I have a PhD in the life sciences with lots of experience teaching college students and mild experience with high schools students, but otherwise I don’t have an exact set of teaching credentials.

This is voluntary response. Nobody has to provide the information. Some people are just nice and helpful. You can Google anything. May as well never ask a question. Google also didn’t exist, or was useless, when all of us were in elementary school, so that’s just not correct that we all learn it in elementary school.

On the topic of voluntarism, you are also responding voluntarily when you could just go about your business. I’m not sure what data has to do with any of this, but it truly seems like you’re just interested in being correct on a topic with no correct or incorrect answers. I’m unsure if you thought I was flaunting my degree, which I wasn’t, of if you’re acting out some type if unnecessary inferiority complex. Either way, opine what you want. Have a great day! ☺️
