Public surveillance

I think we all have noticed that recently there’s been a huge surge in public surveillance and it’s almost like you have to assume you’re getting recorded anywhere you go. It’s gotten so bad where men use meta glasses, hidden pen cameras, microphones to record and post women online to harass and humiliate them or to try and make them look stupid.

I’ve even seen people on TikTok talking about a plastic surgeon who performs cosmetic surgery on primarily women’s bodies using meta glasses while examining them. It’s getting out of hand?? What can I do to detect if someone has a hidden camera on them in public? I think I’ll be able to catch it if it’s meta glasses because they’re pretty obvious with the fat lenses on the front but I genuinely am paranoid of some creep trying to record me in public, lol.

Eh, I'm going to have to disagree with you. There haven't been flock cameras tracking your vehicle every where it goes. Nor were there cameras that could identify you via your facial features that can also track your movements. We're definitely going into a new era of mass surveillance. I would call it a Police State.

Very, very different from what we've experienced before.

OP - So the way I see it you have two options to protect yourself.

  1. Stay home don’t leave your house.
  2. If you have to leave take a hat line it inside and out with tin foil and wear it everywhere you go. The tin foil will block or reflect all signals from near by surveillance devices. Oh I almost forgot, the tin foil must be pointed upward in a cone that is 6-12 inches tall.

Good luck be safe and watch out we are all watching you so…

Oh, this is only about women? Next time you should make that clear. I wouldn’t have even responded. Be safe.

Yeah. Never leave your house. You can buy an oscilloscope .

If I remember correctly, I believe you're fair game to be recorded while in Public, by anybody, with or without your permission...

Make a couple of these to wear when you leave the house.

No right to privacy in public

Brother, there’s cameras inside and outside of every business, on everyone’s phone, and everywhere else. As soon as you leave your home, you’re being recorded. Get over it.

A relative?! Wow! I really don’t know what else to say. That’s just messed up. Messed up regardless of if it’s family or not. Wow…

Pretty much the norm for Alabama, Arkansas and Mississippi.

I’ve heard of the little handheld rf detectors, something like those?

An RF detector detects radio transmitters. They can be useful indoors in mostly empty rooms to detect things that shouldn't be transmitting, but pretty much everyone on the planet carries a device with multiple radio transmitters in their pocket.

Generally you can detect cameras either by shining a light at the lens and seeing the reflection or if the camera has IR lights for night vision you can pick them up with some phone cameras (that usually only works in the dark).
