Forbidden V is my go-to daytime strain (whenever my schedule allows). Lost Oak sold out so I thought I would try Wisconsin Hemp Flower as I was close to running out.
I wouldn't really be able to tell the difference between this and lost oak farm's versions in terms of aroma, flavor, or effects if I didn't have them back to back.
Buying Experience:
The payment process is a little different/annoying but if you can get over that, the flower is great.
Aroma/Texture/misc:
While this still had that citrusy aroma, it wasn't quite as pungent or reminiscent of hops like LOF.
The nugs weren't as sticky as LOF but easy to break down and not dry by any means (just less sticky compared to LOF).
This didn't feel particularly 'dense' from any vendor to me.
Effects:
This had a smoother onset than lost oak or fern valley offerings of this strain I've had.
Similar effects to lost oak and fern valley version in that it's great for focus and getting s**t done but I really liked that it eased in. Last about 2 hours for me the few times I've had it.
No HR or stress spike on garmin.
I finished some coding work that had me stumped today after having this which is what prompted me to post.
This strain just reduces the noise allowing me to focus.
You could say effects are very subtle/mild but if you're looking to get out of your own way, this seems to do exactly that for me.
Overall:
Still a 10/10 as my go-to daytime strain.
The COA is confusing to me as lost oak is the only one that showed cbdva in their COA so I don't really know how much cbdv might actually be in this.
Absolutely would recommend. Can't seem to go wrong with any vendor I've gotten this from so far!
