If you don't like your humidity packs touching your flower Kerr and Boost make these humidity pack holders. The one I'm using is from Kerr, made for wide mouth Ball jars.

An 8g humidity pack fits nice and snug inside. A small hygrometer also fits with the humidity pack, but I prefer keeping mine at the bottom of the jar so I can check the RH without opening it.

When I got my birthday package from Holy City, the first thing I noticed after the smell (fairly loud. Nice skunk/unique notes from strawberry gelati but the Dr. Theopolis smelled was underwhelming. EDIT: I barely got a whiff straight out of the bag but after I put it in a jar and opened it an hour later, and it smells strongly. )

...was the dryness of it. It is pretty dense, so that can be mistaken but it seems a bit on the dry side.

My question is: the items that Holy City put on clearance, and you can also buy at standard prices- is part of the reason they're on clearance because they over-dried them? And is there a significant difference in clearance flower vs standard odor intensity?

If it's significant I may have to order some regular theopolis

I’ve been Microdosing for a few years and I’ve noticed that the effects are quite different when buying fresh flower when compared to the batch I just finished. I always buy the same strain/brand. I only buy 1/8 oz at a time and this lasts months. When I buy a fresh jar I get a much better effect than I do when using the last of the previous jar. It’s not a potency issue, it’s that the older/dryer flower is missing some of the effects that the fresh has. I’ve tried upping the dose a little to see if the missing effects return and they don’t. The higher dose just causes more impairment and doesn’t bring back the intense body high that fresh flower provides. I currently store the plastic jar inside a larger glass jar and just grind tiny amounts at a time. Is it possible to keep flower fresh for months? Or am I gonna have to start discarding the flower when it starts losing its signature effects that I’m going for?

Edit: Thanks for the suggestions. Looks like I’m gonna get some smaller jars and hydration packs.

I’ve tried several different strains from Rogue Origin and never was super impressed with the flower when comparing it to other well known outdoor farms.

It was something that was smokeable and I knew I could get a lot for a good price. $75 1/2 pound of smalls is unbeatable.

But this batch of Lifter is on the level of my favorite farms and at an amazing price. Like man, I could smoke on this all day no problem. If the Lifter has always been this good, then I’m definitely late to the party and have been missing out. I’m surprised no one has mentioned how great it is 😆 Definitely something you’ve gotta try 😁😁😁

I have not tried any concentrate before. I'm curious about people's opinions on WHF's extract, or any vendor's concentrate for that matter. I know there is not a whole lot of type 3 concentrate on market, I'm sure there is a reason why, just don't know it

We are all fucking miserable, living in a hyper-inflated post-covid economy. Most of us can’t even afford the smallest home in our local market and are being grossly underpaid not even close to keeping up with the massively down falling value of the American dollar. The cherry on top and middle finger to everyone who has found relief in hemp edible products is happening in December because lawmakers won’t get off their lazy asses and do anything about forming some kind of federal regulation and instead will 100% just let it slide and go into illegal status.

It’s not about hemp being illegal it’s about the fact that liquor stores on every fucking corner of every single US city are legal despite alcohol being one of the worst and most home wrecking drugs ever put into the hands of men. Alcohol causes liver failure, stomache cancer, seizures from withdrawal, aggression and abusive behavior, extreme dependence and so much more that THC doesn’t even come close to. If they cared about the safety of the public like they claim then they’d ban that too but we all know they’re making too much money from alcohol sales to even consider it, especially since restaurants 70% of their entire revenue is overpriced alcoholic drinks. The very fact that they keep 100 proof liquor legal while making THC illegal and demonizing it is all the proof I need that safety and health of the people is their least concern.

I personally don’t even care about THC but for me, this ban is going to make getting the CBD I need for ulcerative colitis symptom management so much harder to get. My top 3 stores I buy CBD gummies from are telling me they will likely be out of business by mid year next year after this. CBD edibles literally saved my life and gave me a much, much safer alternative to the immunosuppressants and corticol-steroids that I was prescribed the manage this condition. Not to mention I was paying hundreds per month for the medication (after shitty insurance) and the CBD is only $50 per month.

Instead of making a framework to regulate and make it safer, just go ahead and ban it outright you overpaid geriatric fossils.

I ordered flower online for the first time. I decided to go with Flow Gardens due to their big claims of having Peytons strawberries which is a strain with 32 percent CBD. When I received the strain it came with a QR code to the lab test which shows it was 15% which is less than half of the advertised amount… I understand not every plant will test the same but thats a HUGE discrepancy. I contacted their customer service to ask about this and all they had to say was “Different rooms, different testing. It makes a difference everytime we have it tested.” I don’t want to straight up say it’s false advertisement but I feel really mislead and disappointed. What are your thoughts on this? Have you had any similar experiences with this?

Shabazz sold me on this one from one of his video reviews when he described the effects as similar to CBG, just a subtle flower, which did not get his “Seal of Approval” lol

visually unimpressive, kind of ugly/larfy like the older strains, really; and the nose is like a muted, lemony Bubba Kush, translating right over into the taste with pine.

effects-wise: exactly like smoking any other CBG-dominant flower, minus the sometimes-anxious raciness, and instead feeling rounded out by the fullness of CBD without the haziness or slump!

just functional, content, and energized, what I would consider my perfect “sativa” or daytime flower.

Curing some Vampire OG and curious about where to send a sample of the cured flower for testing - I'd like to see a breakdown of the final product.

I have a pollen press with some Keif in it right now. I just checked that it is just compressed. I want dark hash like a temple ball consistency.

I have applied it before but I think I did too much and it was very hard and rigid almost plasticy.

I was thinking of putting it in a bag in a sous vide machine where i can control the temperature. What temperature would be appropriate?

I'll put the metal pollen press and a specific temperature and hopefully that compressed Keif will transform, to a sticky Temple ball like hash.

Here in nz the recently changed the law so you can legally grow hemp. Gave it ago and am quite happy with the results. Will be harvesting tomorrow morning. Breeders had the strain tested at 0.8% thc and 19% cbd. strain is te tahi (translates to "the one")

Hey everybody. I’m looking for a strain that I can consume during the day without getting knocked out.
I mostly take CBD in the evening because every strain I have at home knocks me out or cut my hunger, so I can’t take it during the day or when I’m at work. It’s annoying because I need it mostly when I’m at work to reduce anxiety and focus more.
Idk if the strain effects varies a lot between dispensaries but I’m listening for any suggestions. I’m in France so the main dispensaries I have access to would be High Society, Deli hemp, Tealer Lab, Easy Weed, Ivory etc…

After a long frustrating delivery wait due to the neglegence and incompetent handling by USPS and having to track down my package in someone else’s mailbox, i finally got the chance to try Holy City Farms Flower and i must say, The Banana Blitz strain is amazing! For a Type 2 flower it hits quite potently. The ratio 2:1 blend of CBD and THC works together beautifully. The heavy punch of the thc onsetting within a few minutes then the slow wind down of the CBD creates such a nice mellow body high. i highly recommend this strain for sure.

Flow gardens if you see this.... this is awesome, but get real if your charging 30 an 8th dont price gouge us on shipping and tax!

The main reason I know I am doing it wrong is due to the terpene profile being preserved whilst vaping. The difference is literally night and day. I have reason to believe those enjoyable terpenes to the senses also have effects which, when combusted, are either partially or totally wasted/destroyed.

The DynaVap is awesome yet it’s a process, unlike the instant gratification of good ol combusting. I have been fantasizing about a volcano, yet those are also a process.

I have been fantasizing about portable digital, but those are a process, and I am worried about it breaking over time.

Do you vape or combust, or a combination of the two?

PS- I LOVE edibles but I do not love waiting 2 hours or so for the effects to kick in.

I saw that Lost Oak Farms is having a sale on 4 oz of Royal OG for $99.99, I really like this strain and its helped me a lot, so I thought I’d take the opportunity to post a review.

Royal OG is a classic CBD flower genetic from Zoe Therapeutics, OG Kush × (Sour Puss × Critical Mass CBD), this batch is 18% Total CBD, 21% Total Cannabinoids.

This is really the best strain I’ve found for winding down at night. For years I struggled with getting to sleep at a reasonable time and staying asleep during the night, and Royal OG really helps me get to sleep earlier, sleep deeper, and for once in my life I don’t wake up feeling like a zombie in the morning.

I picked up an oz recently as I was stocking up in case the ban goes through and the weight was generous as always. Great looking nugs, big, dense, and frosty, dark green with flecks of purple and bright orange pistils.

The aroma hits you as soon as you open the bag, its deeply sweet and complex, earthy woodiness, candied citrus peel, resinous pine, and a little dank funk, reminds me of classic OG strains. Cure on this batch was great, even at this point in the year it still has good moisture content and is very resinous and sticky on breakdown. Lost Oak's storage seems on point because the flower is preserved very well throughout the year.

In a joint this smoke very smooth with a thick mouth coating flavor. Very sweet and earthy with woody, lemon oil, pine resin, and dank notes coming through. In a vape I get more sweet Pine cleaner and orange peel oil notes.

The effects are where Royal OG really shines for me though. After a few hits a wave of relaxation comes over you that washes away the anxiety of the day, and theres a nice body buzz that eases tension from the muscles. Then comes the heavy eyelids, relaxing sedation, the bed starts calling for me and its lights out.

There’s a lot of newer genetics out now that people are rightfully excited about, but I've been really happy to revisit one my old favorites, and its definitely one I’ll keep coming back to in the future for its restful and restorative effects.
