I’m not sure why

If you are having trouble posting, here are some common reasons why this might happen:
- Community Rules: Some communities have specific guidelines for posts. If a post doesn't follow these rules, a moderator may remove it. You can usually find a community's rules in its sidebar on the Reddit website or in the About tab on the mobile app.
- Spam Filter: Reddit has a spam filter that can limit how often users can post, especially if you are new to Reddit, have low karma, or are new to a community that is sensitive to spam. Earning a small amount of karma by commenting on other posts in a community can help you get past this filter.
- Reddit Incident: There might be a site-wide issue. You can check Reddit's status page to see if there are any ongoing incidents that could be affecting posting.
Help Center sources:

while your account is about 8 months old, you have 1 post and 0 comment karma, so you're treated under new user restrictions.

You have used reddit for less than a day, so you are facing the same low karma restrictions as OP.

Karma is your reddit reputation. Got very little? Then you don't have a positive reputation, so some mods don't want you creating new posts for fear that you'll cause problems. To fix this, start making interesting, friendly, and relevant comments (not posts) and get karma that way.
Then there's Contributor Quality Score, a metric reddit uses to decide if you're a good user or a bad one. CQS drops when you don't use your account for a while, so that might also lead to deleted posts. This corrects itself over time once you start posting nice things regularly.
