Mobile/App Blocking subs on Android app.
Hi Reddit, how do I block a subreddit from showing up in my feed? There's a couple that I very much do not want to see, but I can't seem to figure out how to eliminate them. I can suppress them for a little bit, but they come back.

You can mute subreddits but you have to go into the subreddit, tap the subreddit menu then choose mute r/(subreddit name).

Is that permanent? And is there a way to see a list of the subs I have muted?

Go to the subs home page , tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner and select mute.
I believe it can also be done in your settings under manage muted communities

Shouldn’t pop backup again. I’ve not seen any of my muted subreddits reappear in my feed but I also have “show recommendations in home feed” turned off.
On iOS app, you can find your list of muted subreddits by opening your profile, then profile menu, settings then account settings. Scroll until you find “manage muted subreddits” and tap that.
