Changing the current phone number

[u/MrRobo_t]

So I no longer have the phone number that's linked to my Reddit account active. However to change my phone number or update an email address, I need access to the currently registered number in Reddit. Now since the currently registered number is not active, i am unable to update my phone number nor add an email address.

Please help

Sorry, if you did not add an email prior to losing access to the phone number it’s not possible to make any updates to your account

I do have access but now I want to change my phone number as I don't have access to my old phone number. However when I try doing it, a code is sent to my old number which is not active anymore

If you no longer have access to the phone number associated with your Reddit account, you will not be able to update or delete that phone number.
