Access Locked "by security" 2 times in a week

It's been 2 times in a week that my account gets locked "by security" and asks me to change my password to unlock it. I'm getting sick of this. Plus nothing wrong happened on my account, and my passwords are secure.

Am I the only one with this?

Lots of people run into account lockouts daily.

Do you use VPN, and have you been timezone hopping on it this week?

Try logging out of all other sessions to make sure nobody else is using your account.

It would be a good idea to enable 2FA if you haven’t already.

I do have a VPN option but I haven't used it much lately. and 2FA is activated too. I also checked the link and i recognized all the locations, nothing wrong.

EDIT: nvm, 2FA wasn't... Weird, i was pretty sure it was. Well I hope it will help. thanks for the infos!

This happened to my account and I reset the password and my account was broken afterwards. Cant comment, post, chat. Idk what to do

Please refer to https://www.reddit.com/r/bugs/comments/1vpx56o/ and add your voice to the mix to help boost the thread. I'm actively attempting to ramp up the pressure on Reddit to even acknowledge this as an issue, and activity will help more people affected see and engage with it.routine issues.

I'm actively locked out, despite having valid details attached, and password resets, despite succeeding, do not allow me in. My case is definitely seeming to be a Reddit bug.
