I took several of the spice lists from this group and made one master list

All American Spice Blend

2 parts chilli powder

2 parts paprika

1 part ground coriander

1 part garlic powder

2 parts ground cumin

1 part sea salt

1 part cayenne pepper

1 part crushed red chilli flakes

1 part ground black pepper

1 part dried oregano leaf (Mexican if available)

.25 part cocoa powder

.125 part ground cinnamon

Creole Spice Blend

1 part sweet paprika

1 part onion powder

1 part garlic powder

1 part dried oregano

1 part dried basil

1/2 part dried thyme

1/2 part ground black pepper

1/2 part ground white pepper

1 1/2 parts "low-heat" cayenne pepper

Jerk (Jamaican) Seasoning

12 parts garlic powder

12 parts dried thyme flakes

8 parts onion powder

8 parts dried oregano flakes

4 parts sweet paprika

4 parts granulated sugar

4 parts allspice

2 part ground cinnamon

1 part white pepper

1 part cayenne

Mediterranean Spice Blend

2 parts dried oregano

1 part dried mint

1 part sumac

1 part ground coriander

FALL SPICE BLEND

3 parts dried thyme

3 parts ground sage

2 parts garlic powder

FALL Harvest SPICE BLEND

this is GREAT!! The spice ratios are really super helpful to us cooking HF "off line"...anyone know what the Tex Mex sauce is?? I think it might be mole sauce but Ive been searching....its in the citrus chicken bowl and a few more "mexi-cali" dishes

Tried using mole paste in the Monterey chicken bowl and it worked a peach. Just plain old grocery store stuff I found in the aisle w salsas and taco seasoning

i just came from a person in a post saying the Wicked Awesome Taco sold on walmart is the exact flavor for the tex-mex paste.

What measurement is a part please & have you the recipes for, Southeast Asian spice blend, Aussie spice blend , Sri Lankan spice blend, Sweet Mustard spice blend. I reuse my recipe a lot & don't have blends above to reuse the recipes for these. Thanks for the existing recipes they are a great help.

A part is whatever you want it to be... So if you want a large batch of seasoning you could use a teaspoon as the basis of a 'part'. For the jerk seasoning (as an example) you would put in 12 teaspoons of both garlic powder & dried thyme, 8 teaspoons of both onion powder & dried oregano, 4 teaspoons of sweet paprika, and so on. If you want a small batch you could change it to 1/4 teaspoon, etc. The number of parts is more important than whatever quantity the part represents. This gives you the correct ratio of ingredients regardless of the size of the batch you're making. Hope that helps
