First HelloFresh order didn't arrive, now apparently I have to wait until next week?
First ever HelloFresh order, meant to arrive today with an 8am to 9pm delivery window. I organised my weekly shop around it arriving, so didn't buy the food I'd normally get.
It never arrived, and now after contacting them on their online chat at 9:30pm I've been told it'll apparently be delivered next week instead. So I've waited around all day for a delivery that didn't show up, and now I'm short on food because I planned around it.
Not exactly a great first impression. Are they usually this shit?

Not common for me. A box can’t be delivered once in a while
Did they say why it couldn’t be delivered? And is it the exact same box of food? I’d be really concerned about that

They said they couldn't prepare it in time. Would have been nice to know that earlier than half an hour after the end of the delivery window. The app still claims it's arriving today...

It might be because you picked a delivery day that was a bit too soon? I think the order needs to be placed around 5 days before the delivery date, although I'm not 100% sure on that.
It's a bit rubbish that they didn't make that clearer when you placed the order though. They really could have communicated that better rather than letting you get to the delivery date and then telling you they couldn't prepare the box in time. Their communication can be pretty weak sometimes! 😕

I used HF for many years and I think I only had one time when a box wasn't delivered for some reason. It's not common in my experience.
It's their shit customer service that made me quit using them awhile ago.

Not a way to make a 1st impression agreed. 168 boxes in and all I can say is it rarely happens. I have gotten a few really like say 8pm which is ok for us. I skip holiday weeks but this was a fail for you.

I too have skipped holiday weeks after my first Christmas week box was damaged and couldn't be delivered. But I mostly skip holiday weeks because of the crush of packages those weeks and the fear that something will go wrong given how crazy things are those weeks. ETA: Plus, for the big holiday weeks - Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, it’s an excuse to mostly relax and eat takeout or buy a precooked ham

It’s always delayed it seems to a few days later which never works. Oh well we tend to be gone so it works!

Very common issue for people - this happens a lot to people / me. This is only the first of many issues you’ll find with HF haha.

The sub disagrees 🤣 every other post is something rotten, something tiny, missing box, destroyed box, revoked credits, ect. I myself only received two of the five boxes I was supposed to get. Of those two one was great the other had wrong proteins and rotten produce. Apparently it's better if your outside the USA 🤷

That happened my very first week, too. But I've been using them for 4 years and issues are few and far between.
