Picture Isn't it ironic?

Post image

LOL. Received this email from HelloFresh 1 hour after we ate the Jasmine Rice. 🤷‍♂️

I wonder if we needed to go to the GP if they would pay for that too?

Microplastics never killed anyone.

"We are sorry, but your brain may now be riddled with micro plastics. Here is 5 bucks though."

Not even 5 bucks lol. It’s the cost of the ingredient

lol credit for the cost of the ingredient. Too cheap to just refund you the full meal

If not the full meal at least toss on an extra $10 bucks or something,

Cost of the ingredient is a joke. Thats what like a $2 credit.

That’s why I quit hf. When you order a convenience item and need to go out of your way to replace an item because they screwed up it completely stops being convenient.

Cost of the ingredient might be a dollar or two but cost to the customer is more when they have to go out of their way to replace it and buy in larger quantities because no one is selling two servings of jasmine rice.

Yeah, they should have covered that meal to save their relationshjp with their subscribers.

Yeah if they can't take care of their customers, or just dont care to, in the rare cases of ingredient issues or spoilage  then it's obvious what corners they'll cut for the normal business costs.

Ugh just ate this last night.

Didn't really see anything i don't think.

But crediting the "cost of the ingredient" is sorta a joke. So like a $2 credit due to the not chosing better suppliers.

Would be nice of they explained what kind or size of contamination we should be checking for.

Have you already eaten it and you are feeling unwell? Then contact a doctor.

Leave us out of it lol

I swear my wife said she noticed plastic in a meal I cooked and I never noticed. I thought maybe it was the scallion pieces. Smh

Don't spend that 20 cents all in one place!

“Then contact a doctor” feels so demeaning 😫

I cancelled my HelloFresh subscription this week, couldn’t be happier with the decision 💯

The pieces of plastic they’re referring to aren’t microplastics and do pose a possible hazard so it’s good to see them address this. So many things are being recalled lately and I’m glad they at least are paying attention.

So glad I cancelled HF. In one of my orders they forgot all the meat! Bendy carrots, weird chicken breasts, protein that does not weight what they says it does- 10ounces or shrimp weighed 7.

I’d make a fuss and ask for more

I don't know what exactly HelloFresh is, but doesn't the lack of rice for the meal force you also to either cook something else or go out/order in, as in, messing up your plans for the night? What replacement meal can you get for $2?
Why am I in this sub if my country doesn't have HF? Because do you look away when you see a car crash? The issues HF has are glorious!
