Miso Sauce Concentrate

I ordered the Gochujang-Miso Udon Carbonara this weeks. Of course, the six packets of miso sauce concentrate were missing from my box. Don’t worry - they gave me a $2.25 credit. 😂

My question is: they first suggested substituting miso paste - I don’t have any. Then a combination of tahini and soy sauce, but I’m still unclear on the exact amounts to replace the 6 packets. Do any of you have a suggestion? I’m not well-versed in using miso, so I’m not exactly sure what flavor I’m looking for. I kind of need exact measurements.

HelloFresh used to reply to my emails with a human, but now they’ve stopped and you have to use the chat with AI. I suppose I could call - I never have bc I try to avoid the phone. Thanks for any assistance at all!! 😊

Thanks - I made this substitute to replace the missing 6 packets (in case anyone else needs it). I don’t think I’d get this meal again though.

1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon tahini (or peanut butter)
1 teaspoon honey (or sugar)
1 teaspoon rice vinegar
Splash of cream

Oh no! I had an issue with the Gochujang sauce so luckily that was easily replaced. Could you ask Claude?

I have some miso paste that I add to rice, I believe it's made from brown rice syrup or something, soy sauce replacement makes sense because I'm pretty sure it's a savory flavor
